Dr. Ram Sasisekharan, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Ram Sasisekharan, Ph.D serves as Chief Advisor of MVM Life Science Partners LLP. Dr. Sasisekharan serves as scientific advisor of Momenta Pharmaceuticals Inc. and is its Co-Founder. He serves as a Professor of Biological Engineering for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 1996. He founded Cerulean Pharma Inc. and serves as its Director and Member of Scientific Advisory Board. He is a Co-Founder of Tempo Pharmaceuticals Inc., and serves as its Director... and Member of Scientific Advisory Board. He served as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Fate Therapeutics, Inc. He served as Director of Momenta Pharmaceuticals Inc. from May 2001 to September 2010 and served as its Member of Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Sasisekharan serves as a Member of Advisory Board at MIT Center for Biomedical Innovation. He has won both the Burroughs Wellcome and Beckman Foundation Young Investigator Awards and was the recipient of 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 CaPCure Awards from the CaPCure Foundation. He serves on the steering committee of the Consortium for Functional Glycomics. Dr. Sasisekharan studied Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from Harvard Medical School.
