Hotel Accommodations & Travel Information

The ABRF 2012 meeting will be held March 17-20, 2012 at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Situated in the heart of Walt Disney World, Disney's Contemporary Resort is located just 30 minutes from the Orlando International Airport and is the setting for the ABRF 2012 Annual Meeting.

This lakeside resort is the only hotel in the Walt Disney World Resort to have the Walt Disney World Monorail System pass through the main lobby. The Resort overlooks 4.5 miles of shoreline along Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon and is the closest hotel to Magic Kingdom theme park.

By reserving a room at this truly unique resort, you will be able to network, learn and share your stories, knowledge and success with attendees and exhibitors all under one magical roof!

The ABRF encourages you to stay in our Official Meeting Hotel. By reserving your room at Disney's Contemporary Resort you are placing yourself at the center of the meeting activities where you will be able to maximize your interactions with colleagues and experts in the wide range of technologies that are central to the ABRF mission.

ABRF 2012 Discounted Room Rate $199 single/double


Reservations must be made by February 10, 2012 to receive the discounted room rate. 

There are two ways to make your reservations:

Visit the ABRF Group Reservations website: http://www.mydisneymeetings.com/abrf2012 and reserve your room online

*If you are looking to come in the week before the conference, anytime from Monday, March 12th - Wednesday, March 14th, availability is limited at  Disney's Contemporary Resort. However, rooms are available at the discounted rate at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  This resort is on the resort monorail with the Contemporary. If you'd like to come in over these dates, you can stay at the Polynesian Resort and then move to the Contemporary Resort for the conference dates (and still get the group rate for both).

DINING
There are plenty of dining options available at the hotel and neighboring locales that do not require reservations. However, there are certain Disney restaurants that have limited availability. We suggest looking to see if reservations are recommended/required at the restaurants you're interested in dining at. If so, be sure to make your reservations today! Reservations can be made on the ABRF Group Reservations site.

Transportation to/from the airport

As a guest of a Walt Disney World Resort, you can take advantage of Disney's Magical Express Transportation, complimentary roundtrip airport transportation and luggage delivery!

Bypass baggage claim and avoid the hassle of having to find transportation and drive, as Disney's Magical Express service transports you from Orlando International Airport to Disney's Contemporary Resort, and delivers your bags to your room.

How It Works

  1. Reserve Disney's Magical Express Transportation when you book online or by calling (407) WDW-MAGIC or (407) 939-6244.* You will receive a packet in the mail with Disney luggage tags, which you will need to affix to your luggage, in order to have Disney claim it for you upon arrival.
    *Must be done in advance
  2. Upon landing at Orlando International Airport, skip baggage claim and proceed to the Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center in the Main Terminal Building, B side, Level 1. Disney's Magical Express service will collect your luggage and deliver it directly to your Walt Disney World hotel room within 3 hours after you check in at the resort. Luggage delivery service provided by Disney's Magical Express is available for flights arriving between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm daily. For airport arrivals after 10:00 pm, Guests may collect their luggage at Baggage Claim and transport it with them on the motor coach.
  3. As your stay draws to a close, you'll receive a Transportation Notice advising you of the pick-up time and place for your motor coach ride back to Orlando International Airport. Please note that it is your responsibility to bring your luggage to the pick-up point.

PARKING
Self-parking is complimentary for all meeting attendees.

CAR RENTAL
While staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, there's no need to rent a car, or deal with the hassle of driving and parking. Save time and the hassle of driving and parking with complimentary transportation. Destinations throughout Walt Disney World Resort, including Disney Theme Parks and Disney Water Parks, are accessible by bus, boat and monorail.
