ABRF Education Committee / NSF-Sponsored Satellite Educational Workshop Awards

The ABRF Education Committee is sponsoring a 2012 Satellite Educational Workshop Travel Award program to promote participation in the workshops at the annual meeting. Satellite Workshops (SW) will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Disney's Contemporary Resort, prior to the ABRF conference. With an exception, SW1 is a 2-day workshop that will start on Friday, March 16, 2012 and run through Saturday. Technical scientists working in core laboratories as well as students and postdoctoral fellows interested in pursuing a career in biotechnology are encouraged to apply. This award includes complimentary registration to one of the four workshops, hotel room reimbursement (up to 3 nights for SW1 and 2 nights for SW2, SW3 and SW4 not exceeding conference rate) and up to $700 reimbursement for travel costs. Award winners will be notified by February 4th, 2012.
Travel awards are provided as reimbursements after the meeting. Awardees need to complete the program to be eligible for reimbursement.
