Registration Rates
 

Full Meeting Registration includes access to all sessions, the exhibit hall, all social functions including the opening and closing social, meals and refreshments provided by ABRF, as well as all the printed conference program with abstracts. Note: Full Meeting Registration does not include access to the Satellite Workshops. Satellite Workshops are an additional cost.

*Non-Members will have the opportunity to apply for ABRF membership, as well as take advantage of the Member meeting registration rate. When applying for ABRF membership at the same time as registering for the ABRF meeting, the membership application must be completed and accompany the meeting registration form.

**Students must show a currently valid student I.D. on-site at the start of the meeting in order to receive the special student rate.

Exhibit Hall Only Pass
Exhibit Hall Only Passes will be available on-site only at registration.  The registration fee for the Exhibit Hall ONLY registration is $45.00.  This registration is ideal for those who wish to visit the Exhibit Hall only, or for special guests and customers of exhibitors.  This pass will allow access to the exhibit hall only, and no other sessions.

Satellite Educational Workshops

Satellite Educational Workshops will be offered on Saturday, March 17, 2012. One workshop will be a two-day workshop, to be held Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17. Registration for Satellite Education Workshops are an additional fee; however, Full Meeting Registration is not required to register for a Satellite Educational Workshop.  Details about the workshops can be found here.

Press

Eligibility
Press registrants will receive a badge that will allow access to the all scientific sessions and Satellite Educational Workshops, as well as the Exhibit Hall.

In order to be eligible for complimentary Press Registration, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Working press employed by legitimate news media. You must present a press card, business card, or letter of introduction from an editor of the recognized publication.
  • Freelance science and technical writers, as evidenced by a by-lined article pertaining to the fuel cell industry, research, and development intended for the general public and published within the last 3 years; or a letter from the editor of a recognized publication assigning you to cover the ABRF 2012 Annual Meeting.
  • Public information officers of scientific societies, educational institutions, and government agencies: must present a business card.
Please note that business representatives of publishing houses, for-profit corporations, and the business side of news media are not accredited as news media at ABRF, and therefore, must register at the regular full conference rate at the time of registration. In addition, those who have been chosen to present (oral or poster), and are also eligible for press registration per the above requirements, must also register for the meeting at the presenter rate.

IMPORTANT: Each recognized media organization is limited to 2 press registrations ONLY.

How to Register as Press
Press may register by completing the Press Registration Form.  Send all completed forms, along with all required forms of identification and credentials to the contact below, attention, Ashley Giuda. Completed forms may be sent via email, fax, or mail.

Payment of Fees
 
Payment must be made by the following methods:
  • Credit card payment may be made with MasterCard, Visa or American Express.
  • Check drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars made payable to the ABRF 2012 Annual Meeting.  Checks drawn on non-U.S. banks and/or written in non-U.S. currency will be returned and registrations will not be processed.
  • U.S. or international money order in U.S. dollars made payable to the ABRF 2012 Annual Meeting.
  • Purchase orders will not be accepted as payment of registration.
  • Cash will be accepted for on-site registrations only. 
Refunds and Cancellations

Registration fees and tickets will be refunded, if a written cancellation request is received by March 12, 2012.  Fax refund/cancellation requests can be made by phone at (202) 331-0111 or by e-mail at abrf@courtesyassoc.com.  A Satellite Workshop will be held only if there at least 16 attendees registered for that workshop by February 17, 2012.  In the event that a Satellite Workshop is canceled, any registration fees paid will be fully refunded.

Photography

Please note that ABRF will have a photographer onsite to photograph the event. By registering, you are agreeing to have your photograph taken. Pictures may be used for ABRF related websites and marketing materials only. Photographs will not be shared with affiliate or non-affiliate organizations.
